Ever since taking over the captaincy his batting form has deteriorated considerably but he still is respected on the team. His match innings against the Pakistanis was a gem. He is a very handy bowler and also a great catcher especially on forward short leg. His influence on the team has been positive but he he will have to think of some thing special to get West Indies out of the dumps that they have found themselves in.
