Along with Sachin Tendulkar is today the greatest batsman in the whole world. When playing good cricket, he can be very innovative and exciting both as a batsman and as a Captain. Presently Lara is out of touch with his fearless batting technique. He had not been performing well and the West Indies team performance deteriorated gradually under his captainship. But after taking a long break from the game Lara is back and is looking hungrier than before. Lara being Lara is a phenomenon in himself when in form. It is divine to watch him bat when in full flow because he just doesn't stop.
