"Harris" as he is popularly known, is the warmest player in the New Zealand team. He has a ready smile and takes time for cricket fans, especially youngsters, which makes him the most popular cricketer in New Zealand. The affection with which he is regarded is reflection of his personality & performance both on and off the field. He takes his performance both on the field very seriously, batting at number seven. He has become the master of final 10 overs. Harris has played more than 100 ODI’s and is one of the eight to have more than 100 ODI wickets to his name. It is a disappointment he has yet not secured a regular place in the test team.
