West Indies won the 3rd ODI by 7 wickets to level the series 1-1

Port of Spain, June 3: West Indies Level the series 1- by beating India in the 3rd ODI . Rain disturbed the game and match was reduced to 25 overs only. India won the toss and elected to bat.

West Indies stopped Indian batsman at just 123 runs. India lost their first seven batsman before they could put hundred on the scoreboard.

Collymore took 3 wickets while C Hooper and P Collins helped the team by taking 2 wickets each. M Dillon and C Cuffy got a single wicket each.

Sachin Tendulkar's absence was felt by the Indians. Sachin was not playing because of his shoulder injury. Indian batsman failed to put up a good score for Windies to chase.

Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid tried to keep India's hope. S Ganguly was taken lbw by Collymore when he was on 39 runs and R Dravid was bowled by Hooper on 28 runs. The rest of the Indian kept coming in and going out. West Indies washed out Indian side on 123.

C Gayle and W Hinds opened the Inning for West Indies and scored hundred run partnership. C Gayle contributed quick 84 runs in just 67 balls wherein he hit 9 fours and 3 sixes. W Hinds scores 30 runs of 45 balls with 2 fours and a six.

T Yohannan taking 2 wickets and Z Khan with 1 were the only successful bowlers from Indian side.

West Indies won the match by 7 wickets to level the series 1-1.
