Though having a lot of admirers, in his home country, his career has essentially stalled in the years following his meteoric promotion to the senior Australian team at the age of 21. He has continued to work hard at his game both physically and mentally, he has finally been able to play test cricket for Australia. He is an extremely talented middle order batsman who has made a mark on his own.
